Have You Tried Google Tasks?

 In Uncategorized

Hey Gmail users, it’s right there, hiding in plain site, in the top left on that GMAIL word you rarely click. It’s Google TASKS. I never gave it the time of day until last Friday. My Father-in-law manages rental property, and during a family bbq he asked “Greg, I need a simple way to keep track of tasks with my workers, where everything syncs together, and I want us to just share one email.

Having never come across this exact scenario, I put my Googley fingers to the test. Turns out, I didn’t have to look farther than my own Inbox. Google Tasks is really powerful, and really simple. Read all about its features here, and I’ll lay out below exactly where to find it…

1-click-gmail-then-click-tasks
Step 1: click Gmail then click tasks
2-tasks-will-pop-up-in-lower-right
Step 2: Tasks will pop up in the lower right corner of the browser.

Step 3: Check out the example lists I created. One for each team member.
4-click-on-actions-and-you-can-see-all-the-options
Step 4: Click on the Actions and you'll see a ton of useful options.

I hope you found this useful. I always tell people, the best to-do list is one that you actually stick to and update.

What’s your favorite to-do list app, tool or process? Please share!
